ONOMATOPEIA

One of my favorite things about comic books is their ability to merge illustration & type to make still frames move. And one of my favorite things about cars is their sounds: the deep purr of a v8, the whistle and whoosh of a turbo, the popping of an exhaust backfiring, the smooth whine of a v12. This is my attempt to merge these two concepts to bring my favorite cars to life, first as stills and then as animation loops. A work in progress…
